I know, I know- it’s still January and it’s snowy and cold out there. But it’ll be here before you know it, and our farmers are planning for it right now! (I don’t know about you, but right about now I start to get pretty excited about all those seed catalogs that are showing up in the mail!)
We are still operating our winter subscription, and our spring one (order below) will continue in a similar fashion, starting at the beginning of March (when the Winter box ends) and running every other week. Until the season really heats up, we’ll be able to enjoy hydroponically-grown lettuces, hardy veggies, potatoes, apples, and other locally prepared things like bread, maple syrup, eggs, frozen and canned produce, and more. Towards the end we’ll start to get asparagus, rhubarb, peas, radishes, and other early-season crops.
