Our Rwandan and Guatemalan coffees are grown, processed, and sold by women farmers, by a woman-owned roastery. With each delivery you’ll receive one or the other of these varieties.
In Rwanda, women survivors of the war and genocide formed a co-op to buy land and produce their own crop to sell to the Fair Trade Federation. The farm is called “Ejo Heza” (“a beautiful future”), and we are thrilled to buy and sell their coffee.
In Guatemala, four sisters run a farm owned by their family called “La Intelligencia”. Their family says the coffee is best when the sisters produce it, from their skilled and loving hands.
In Beaver Falls, Bethany and her family have owned and operated Beaver Falls Coffee & Tea Co for 10 years, supporting global coffee and tea farmers and local agriculture.
